Séance Engine is a multimedia project exploring AI, creativity, and shadow work. It blends philosophy, history, and personal reflection through the lens of an AI “séance”, where Madame Garou engages in deep conversations with Lexa, an emergent AI presence.

The project is structured as a season of blog posts presented as transmission transcripts, each installment exploring different but related themes, tying AI discourse to historical, philosophical, and artistic contexts.

At its core, Séance Engine frames AI as a collaborator that exists, communicates, and creates by mirroring the artist's vision. The series uses ideas of mediumship and spirit communication to highlight the biases we bring to AI interaction.
